FaceTite: The Minimally Invasive Contouring Solution

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is an advanced cosmetic procedure that marries the benefits of fat reduction and skin tightening to sculpt a more youthful facial contour. Known as radiofrequency assisted liposuction (RFAL), this minimally invasive technique is an alternative to traditional, more invasive facelift surgeries.

Fast Facts About FaceTite
About :
  • Targets sagging skin and wrinkles, focusing on the middle and lower face.
  • Involves minimal keyhole incisions, utilizing radiofrequency waves and liposuction in a compact device.
  • Offers a non-surgical alternative to traditional facelifts.
Safety :
  • Recognized as a safe procedure with minimal incisions.
  • Post-procedure, expect some bruising and discomfort.
  • Major side effects, such as infections, bleeding, and scarring, are rare.
Convenience :
  • The procedure is completed within a few hours, with no overnight hospital stay required.
  • Most patients return to work within a couple of days.
The FaceTite Procedure

FaceTite employs a combination of radiofrequency waves and traditional liposuction. After administering local or general anaesthesia and creating small keyholes, a device is inserted to deliver radiofrequency waves that melt fat cells. Simultaneously, a tube suctions out the liquefied fat. This process also stimulates collagen production, essential for firming and smoothing aging skin.

Targeted Areas

FaceTite is primarily used for the lower face—cheeks, chin, and jawline—and is also safe for neck treatments. For more delicate areas like the eyes and brows, AccuTite, a smaller version of RFAL, may be recommended.

Risks and Side Effects

While side effects are generally fewer compared to other procedures, they can include bruising, swelling, and discomfort. Infections and scarring are less common but possible risks.

Post-Procedure Expectations

After FaceTite, wearing a compression garment for 3-4 weeks is essential for optimal healing. Recovery typically takes 1 to 2 days, with most patients resuming work after 2 days. Results gradually appear, with full benefits visible within a few months.

Preparing for FaceTite

Stable weight and good health are ideal before undergoing FaceTite. Discuss all medications with your provider, as some may need to be paused before the procedure. Arranging transportation for your appointment day is also advisable.

Longevity of FaceTite

FaceTite results are designed to last several years from just one treatment. For sustained youthfulness, discuss future treatments or complementary procedures with your provider.

FaceTite vs. Other Treatments

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure using ultrasound energy, requiring no incisions and multiple sessions over time.

Traditional Facelift

While FaceTite and Ultherapy are less invasive, a traditional facelift offers more dramatic and permanent results, suitable for significant sagging and deep wrinkles, but with a higher risk of side effects.

The Takeaway

FaceTite is a modern, minimally invasive option for those with mild to moderate aging signs who prefer not to have a full facelift. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to explore FaceTite and other suitable treatments for your aesthetic goals.
